Artist books selected from the Art Gallery of NSW Research Library's own artist book collection (acquisitions funded by the Women Artists Group) are shown alongside a selection of works not seen in Sydney before, from the Australian Bookbinders Without Boundaries touring exhibition. A diversity of approaches is included - artists' books, book objects, altered books and other book-related artforms - in more than twenty artists' responses to the opportunity to freely apply a wide range of techniques from varied artistic backgrounds encompassing painting, drawing, papermaking, sculpture, photography, printmaking, poetry, installation and digital media.
