Adventure Tour: Change of Season
Come on a nature walk through Japan and experience seasonal motifs such as the cherry blossom of spring, the autumn maple trees, the snow capped mountains of winter and the Flowers of Summer. Exhibition changes seasons. See dates above.

Years 3-6 Artist Workshop: Season of Festivals
Combines a children's adventure tour of the exhibition with traditional paper craft related to Japanese seasons. With a Japanese artist and the Children's Guides.

Combines a children's adventure tour of the exhibition with a range of art making sessions drawn from Japanese culture.With a Japanese artist and the Children's Guides.

Teachers' Enrichment Day: Four Seasons in One Day

Preview of the new Asian Gallery, including presentations on its development as a physical and conceptual space and the Asian collection by Jackie Menzies, Head Curator Asian Art and Anne Flanagan, exhibitions manager, Art Gallery of New South Wales. Followed by an overview of education programmes and Asian Gallery walk through.

Student Study Morning: Spirited Away with Seasons
An introduction to Seasons with Ann Macarthur, Co-ordinator of Asian programmes, followed by Japanime film Spirited Away 2002 (dir. Hayao Miyazaki), a wondrous fantasy about a ten-year-old girl who is whisked away to a spirit world. Japanese language version with English subtitles, 35mm. (PG)

Discussion Tour: Lay of the Land
Navigate Seasons and the Gallery's Australian and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Collections, explorating landscape over time and cultures. Also recommended for Japanese language students.

Japanese Artist Workshops
Extend the Seasons exhibition experience through traditional Japanese arts, tutored by Japanese artists. Includes introduction to the exhibition.
