Anne Landa Award
Seven artists have been selected for the second Anne Landa Exhibition and Award - the first award exhibition in Australia for moving image and new media work. This is the second in a biennial series of exhibitions, each with an acquisitive award of $25,000.

Conservation of 17th Century Flemish Painting
The Art Gallery of NSW has recently acquired a large 17th century Flemish painting attributed to the workshop of Frans Snyders, titled The boar hunt c. 1650s. The bank, BNP Paribas, has generously contributed the funding for its necessary conservation treatment for public display. |

The Dobell Prize is the most respected award for drawing in Australia. Initiated by the trustees of the Sir William Dobell Art Foundation, the prize was first awarded in 1993. The winner will be announced on the 28 September 2006.

Ink: Brett Whiteley and others
