Explore the gallery every Wednesday until 9pm. Just a brief walk from the CBD, the Gallery is the perfect summer venue to enjoy a drink on the outdoor ArtBar, wander five floors of art and hear celebrity talks, concerts and music performances inspired by Goddess: Divine Energy.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

CELEBRITY TALKS 6.30pm
6 Dec - Kelsang Dornying, western monk and popular teacher of Mahayana Buddhism: Pure Pleasure: The Buddhist Secrets of Enjoyment 
Kelsang presents the playful and joyous nature of the Buddhist Goddesses and how the Buddhist path of individual transformation is not all silent introspection. 

13 Dec - Kylie Kwong, celebrity chef, Lindy Lee, artist and Barbara Flynn, gallerist: Kuan-yin
These three women discuss the influences and importance of the Chinese Goddess of Mercy and Compassion, Kuan-yin.

YOGA IN THE GALLERY 7.30pm 
20 Dec - Simon Borg-Olivier presents an introductory yoga workshop in the Central Court. Some mats are provided, or you are welcome to bring your own.
 
PIANO CONCERT 6.30pm 
Enjoy these recitals presented in the majestic 19th century galleries.

FILM PROGRAM 7.15pm
In both Asian and Western cinema, intelligent, strong and assertive female actors have been a symbol of empowerment for women, often representing the perfect model of female balance and delivering power with sex and sex with power. The Goddess Film Series celebrates some of the goddesses of Asian and Western cinema, screening films from India and China as well as Western classics. This rare program of classic films includes Crouching tiger, Hidden dragon (Ang Lee, 2000) and Notorious (Hitchcock, 1946) among others. See Full Program...

LIVE MUSIC IN THE ARTBAR 7.30pm
The café transforms with Indian inspired music and jazz performances later in the month. Enjoy a drink, light meal and the lively ambience.
