FILM PROGRAM 7.15pm Inspired by the stories and the political sentiments of Emile Zola and Guy de Maupassant, this series includes classic feature films that grew out of poetic realist cinema of the 1930s. Screened in 35mm format and imported from France, this is a rare opportunity to view vintage French cinema, with films by Jean Renoir, Max Ophuls, Marcel Carn´, Jacques Becker, Agnès Varda, Bertrand Tavernier, Nicolas Philibert and more.
