Pissarro: The first Impressionist
Summer Program November 05 - February 06
Rendezvous this summer at the Gallery's late-night Wednesday program, Art After Hours. The Gallery celebrates Pissarro, the largest exhibition of a single Impressionist artist ever to be held in Australia, with a range of French-inspired events.
Curators, celebrity chefs, politicians and media personalities discuss Pissarro - the innovative, rebellious and fervent anarchist of 19th century France. The film program, inspired by Emile Zola and Guy de Maupassant, presents the French poetic realist cinema of the 1930s; the caf transforms into the Parisian lounge-bar, and much more!
