FREE UPCOMING EVENTS AT THE GALLERY
Explore five floors of art, with four great exhibitions showing this month, including The Arts of Islam, the Dobell Prize for Drawing, Translucent World: Chinese jade from the Forbidden City and Bertram Mackennal.

Please note: Due to traffic disruptions caused by APEC 2007, talks, tours and music have been cancelled for Wednesday 5 September. The film screening will run as usual.

Tracing the rich cultural tapestry of China, this cinematic history reflects on mythological, artistic, social, historical and political events while dynastic monarchies rise and fall, rival warriors battle for supremacy, and war and revolution give way to chaos.
