Lee Lin Chin, Giuffre, Cunio


This month at Art After Hours enjoy celebrity talks by Lee Lin Chin and Remo Giuffré as well as an Islamic music performance by Kim Cunio and Heather Lee. There are also special events celebrating NAIDOC week and weaving workshops every Wednesday night throughout the month. The Gallery's beautiful exhibition Silk Ikats of Central Asia opens on 2 July.

SPECIAL MUSIC PERFORMANCE 6.30pm

, pianist, in association with Intensely Dutch.
22 July - Kim Cunio and Heather Lee, perform Islamic music from Central Asia to the Middle East alongside traditional music from Armenia in association with Silk Ikats of Central Asia.

CELEBRITY TALKS 6.30pm
8 July - Bruce Pascoe, Australian writer, editor and anthologist in association withThe Dreamers and NAIDOC week.
15 July - Remo Giuffré, founder of REMO General Store and pioneer of social media in association with Double Take: Anne Landa Award 2009.
29 July - Lee Lin Chin, weekend presenter of World News Australia SBS TV in association with Silk Ikats of Central Asia.
