The Qantas Spirit of Youth Awards aim to recognise, celebrate and encourage young Australian talent. Across ten fields of endeavour, young Australians aged 16-25 were invited to submit their creative work. The winner from each category will receive $5,000 cash, $5,000 Qantas travel and the opportunity to be mentored by a professional leader in their field. This is the second year of the awards and approximately 12,000 entries were submitted.
The 2005 winners were announced on 7 November and a selection of winning and highly commended entries will remain on display until Sunday 20 November.
