Óscar Muñoz: Biografías
Colombian artist Oscar Munoz is something of a gentle magician, his 'disappearing drawings' are poignant and beautiful. The five-channel video installation Biografias is one of a series of works in which portraits slowly vanish, reflecting the disappearance of people on a regular basis in Colombia.

�ngela Ferreira & Narelle Jubelin
This collaborative exhibition unites the artists� interests in post-colonial experiences: Ferreira�s in Mozambique and South Africa, Jubelin�s in Australia. Both artists work within a research-based practice, building narratives in which every new work connects to their previous projects.

The Anne Landa Award is the first biennial exhibition in Australia dedicated to moving image and new media arts. The artists in this year's exhibition consider what it means to transform the self into another persona � as a doppelganger, a karaoke performer, an avatar, a robot or a fantasy alter-ego. From the archive of Rubery Bennett
William Rubery Bennett (1893-1987) was both a painter and the director of a successful commercial gallery in Sydney for over 30 years. This exhibition is drawn from his archive, donated to the Art Gallery of NSW in 2004.

Korean Dreams
Korean Dreams, paintings and screens of the Joseon Dynasty - The U Fan Lee Collection in the Guimet Museum, Paris. This exhibition, the first showing of traditional Korean painting in the Gallery, comprises Korean screens, hanging scrolls and album leaves dating from the 17th to 19th centuries.

Monet and the Impressionists
The Art Gallery of NSW is the only Australian venue for this extraordinary exhibition of Impressionist paintings from the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, including 29 works by Claude Monet alongside masterpieces by Cézanne, Degas, Pissarro, Renoir, Sisley and others.

Mountford Gifts
This focus exhibition will highlight the eight bark paintings and sixteen works on paper that came to the Art Gallery in 1956 from the American Australian Scientific Expedition to Arnhem Land (AASEAL), which was the largest expedition in Australia�s history.

For his new project, Melbourne-based artist Nicholas Mangan looks to the tiny South Pacific island of Nauru. Nauru is the starting point for a richly imaginative installation incorporating found objects, collages and video, as Mangan explores the idea that �the middle of nowhere is the centre of everything�.

Printmaking in the age of Romanticism
Romanticism emerged in the late 18th century as a powerful force in the development of European music, literature, painting and the graphic arts. This exhibition of over 100 prints includes works by artists, including Blake, Turner, Géricault and Delacroix, who turned to printmaking for its unique, expressive possibilities.

Re-opening of the Grand Courts
Sydney�s premier collections of European and Australian art to the end of the 19th century are housed permanently in the Grand Courts of the Art Gallery of NSW. These elegant rooms were the first in the Gallery to be built, in 1897. Now they have gone through a major refurbishment.
