Brisbane-born artist William Rubery Bennett (1893-1987) was both a painter and the director of a successful commercial gallery in Sydney for over 30 years. This exhibition is drawn from his archive, which was donated to the Art Gallery of NSW in 2004. It includes sketchbooks, journals, historical correspondence, photograph albums and artworks.
