With more than 350 works spanning three decades, this is the first major survey of the work of Bill Henson, a master of light and dark in the tradition of the great European painters. His powerful, confronting and unforgettable images bring together the formal and classical with the gritty, casual dramas of the everyday.

Composing bodies in space
Experiment with composition, materials and techniques using a life model and a variety of spaces within the gallery.

Teachers Workshop
From the photographic to the cinematic
Use key themes in Henson’s work as inspiration for short filmmaking. Gain introductory skills in the development, production and editing of digital video with AGNSW documentary film maker James Marshall.
