8 January – 3 April
2005
With more than 350 works spanning three decades, this is the first
major survey of the work of Bill Henson, a master of light and dark
in the tradition of the great European painters. His powerful, confronting
and unforgettable images bring together the formal and classical
with the gritty, casual dramas of the everyday.
