Australian Abstraction 1965 - 1985
From the Collection
9 December 2006 - 24 January 2007
Project gallery, Ground Level

A selection of paintings, sculpture and works on paper reflecting the abstractionist movement in Australian art, from its zenith in the late 1960s until the mid-1980s (when its dominance was challenged by the rise of conceptualism). There will be a mixture of some of the more prominent practitioners of the period together with several lesser-known artists.
