Hastings proposes four sculptural situations, one of which may have us wonder where the missing walls of Walter Burley Griffin’s winning 1911 plan for Canberra might be. "Watercolour floorplans, odd encyclopaedic pages of thwarted narrative that go forever nowhere (rather than provide content), furniture objects, geometric paintings, geometric fabric patterns, geometrically patterned walls and art authorities - all of which often comprise a sculptural situation, but are not it." - Gail Hastings
