Although the Art Gallery of New South Wales was the first Australian public gallery to represent Albert Tucker (1914–99), until now the collection has lacked the depth and diversity of his robust vision. Barbara Tucker, the artist's widow, has made a generous loan to the Gallery of her late husband's work with the intention they will eventually enter the Gallery's permanent collection. This exhibition will include many works that have never been seen in public before, which reveal the remarkable breadth of Tucker's oeuvre. Collection Focus Room sponsored by
