  • Gother V. F. Mann (1863-1948), Secretary and Superintendent 1905-1912, Director and Secretary, 1912-1919
  • Sir John William Ashton O.B.E., R.O.I., (1881-1963), Director Secretary, 1937-1944
  • Hal Missingham A.O., F.R.S.A. (1906-94), Director Secretary, 1945-1971
