Tracey Emin
Sat 1 February - Sun 23 March 2003

Britain's Tracey Emin is one of Europe's most talked-about artists.

Emin produces confrontational, revealing and autobiographical work and speaks openly about her sexual experiences, her family and her youth. Indeed her art practice is based on a disarmingly frank exploration of her own life; she exposes herself, her fears and dreams, fantasies, mishaps and anxieties. Emin's work is characterised by gritty, often humorous and very forthright subject matter. The exhibition includes a selection of her appliqued blankets, drawings and video work.
